Thai Culinary Culture at Dusit Thani Bangkok

The Dusit Thani Bangkok is hosting a special evening that celebrates Thai culinary culture. Two generations of acclaimed Thai chefs, Chef Saritwat 'Earth' Wanwichitsakorn of Saawaan and Chef Rosarin Sriprathum of Pavilion restaurant, will offer a six-course Thai dinner on August 16 at the Tiara Room. The evening begins with an amuse-bouche quartet, including Grilled prawn filling in lychee, Chiang Mai oyster mushroom with pickled tomato, Coconut broth-poached mussel, and a Tom yum prawn cracker. The menu includes dishes like Blue crab with fresh mango and cashew nuts, Grilled Phuket lobster with torch ginger flower salad, and Chicken and banana stalk. The meal ends with an Avocado mousse and Custard apple sorbet.

French Connections at Chai Jia Chai

Chai Jia Chai's chef-patron Tsai Shih Wei is offering a celebration of two culinary styles across continents with a nine-course dinner featuring Chef Arnaud Dunand of Maison Dunand. On August 16, contemporary French techniques will intertwine with the layered depth of modern Chinese cuisine. Each chef will present four dishes, culminating in a co-created abalone course that symbolizes the East meets West narrative.

Bold Flavours at Rasik Local Kitchen and FishHouse Restaurant and Bar

Kimpton Kitalay Samui will host a two-day collaboration between Rasik Local Kitchen and FishHouse Restaurant and Bar. Chef Wai from Rasik Local Kitchen and Chef Banana from FishHouse Restaurant and Bar will present a 12-course beachfront dinner. The menu includes five appetizers and a choice of five main courses, along with a fire show and live DJ. On August 14, an eight-course meal is available with a live saxophonist serenading diners.

Spain Meets Japan at Uno Mas

Uno Mas at Centara Grand at CentralWorld will see Chef Yoshitsugu Yamamoto of the Michelin-starred Alarde in Osaka, Japan, take over the kitchen on August 14-15. Chef Yamamoto will offer Spanish-Basque cuisine with a Japanese sensibility. The menu starts with Foie gras and chocolate bonbon, followed by a trio of appetizers, three different pinxtos on brioche, and a Watermelon gazpacho. Highlights include Black rice with oysters, Monkfish in green sauce, and Japanese Kamimura Gyu rib-eye steak.

Secret Roots at Thiptara

The Peninsula Bangkok will host 'The Secret Roots Of Thai Cuisine' at Thiptara Thai restaurant on August 16. Chefs Ian Kittichai and Ying Monnip will showcase an immersive four-hands collaboration that delves into the cultural and culinary heritage of Thailand. Ingredients such as Mae klong mackerel, Kamphaeng Saen beef, and fragrant coconut will be featured.

Wine Dinner at Alex Dilling at Lord Jim's

Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok will pair chef Alex Dilling's signature creations with France's most celebrated wine regions on August 15 at Alex Dilling at Lord Jim's. The journey through six French regions includes Grand Cru Champagne, Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc, Burgundy Chardonnay, Bordeaux, Northern Rhône Syrah, and a 20-year-aged fortified wine from Roussillon. The menu includes Ostra Regal oyster, Provençal tomato with peach and burrata, and a 70% Chocolate tart soufflé infused with XO cognac.

Peruvian Dinner at Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit

A journey into the rich culinary and wine heritage of Peru will be held at Hyatt Regency Bangkok Sukhumvit on August 13. Enjoy an exquisite five-course menu of traditional Peruvian dishes, each paired with premium wines from Peru. The evening will be hosted by Erick Figueroa, export manager at Viñas Queirolo.

Cocktail Takeover at Luz Bangkok Tapas Bar

Bartender and whisky ambassador Watcharapong 'Bank' Suriyaphan will take over Luz Bangkok Tapas Bar on August 15. His four cocktails include Sol de Miel (The Golden Glow), El Misterio (The Mystery), Luz Oscura (Dark Light), and Flamenco Flame (The Fire Within).

Wellness Series at Anantara Hotels and Resorts

Anantara Hotels and Resorts has partnered with Technogym for in-room wellbeing. Guests can access guided sessions for any time of day, including full-body strength training and dynamic stretching routines. A dedicated wellness retreat at Anantara Convento di Amalfi Grand Hotel in Italy is planned for November.
